We are honored to have played a key role in one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure projects: the Fehmarnbelt Railway Tunnel, linking Germany and Denmark. Designed to enhance European connectivity, this project presents unprecedented engineering and logistical challenges.
Our scope of work included the fabrication of primary structural steel components for the formwork system of specialized tunnel segments. These 7.3-meter-high steel assemblies serve as the supporting framework for the upper deck slab of the railway tunnel sections.
Last week, we successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in collaboration with SOLDAVAL SOLDADURAS PROFESIONALES VALENCIANAS, responsible for manufacturing the formwork panels and Rúbrica Engineering, overseeing the entire process.
During the FAT, material quality was verified, and the assembly process was optimized to ensure maximum safety during installation on-site.
We also extend our gratitude to FLC and MEVA teams, whose technical expertise and guidance were instrumental in this project phase. This joint effort not only highlights our ability to tackle large-scale technical challenges but also reinforces our commitment to excellence in high-complexity international projects.
